It looks at the very basic principles of animation keeping it as simple as possible with just one figure.

  • It will vary considerably depending on the materials,lighting and complexity of your model. Glass and liquids require a lot of number crunching in particular, so 45 minutes for a 6 second sequence is in fact pretty good, I'm currently working on a model interior which requires ten hours per frame.... ouch! so I'm going to try and animate the thing in after effects instead.You can reduce the time taken by turning the atmosphere off in the sky control panel at the top with the little rainbow.

  • Is it normal that it he takes 45 minutes to render an animation of 6 seconds??
