SCCA @ Rockingham PDX/HPDE3 on 6/27/09

SCCA "Rendezous at the Rock" Rockingham HPDE event on 6/27/09 in a professionally prepared 2002 Roush Stage 3 Mustang equipped with complete Griggs Racing GR40 World Challenge Suspension and Griggs 4on4 brakes. This is a combination of sessions 1 - 3 in the intermediate/advanced run group...with very nice unsolicited testimonial for Griggs from my instructor. Engine has stock bottom end with Roush-installed Eaton supercharger and intercooler...making only 335 rwhp. The car weighs 3,465 wet with driver. Built by Performance Autosport in Richmond,VA. The only car that I didn't pass all day was an AC Cobra replica making 500+ hp and weighing only 2,500 pounds, running on R6 Hoosiers. He was much faster in the straights, but I caught him in the corners.

Nice run. What was your lap times about 1:00 or so. I'm thinking about joining a club or group as well. I have a 1996 gmc truck its pretty peppy but if only I could take some weight off it weighs 4,500 lbs.

Not sure of the exact time as I didn't have a transponder or timer in the car, but I did go back to the raw video and it shows a 1:08 as my fastest lap. I just checked the SCCA website and the pole position for Sunday's race was a 1:10.

That's still way faster than what I would do. LOL I have a truck, they probably wouldn't even let me run. My friend runs out there in his 06 vett.

Awesome ride..didn't see you get passed once! The car is amazing...especially in the corners and brake zones.
