Happy BLACK History month to me, I had no idea MR. Buddy Miles was black...I just saw a video wiht him and Jimi Hendrix....I know all the words to this song from the radio but I guess because it was played on the rock stations I assumed he was white...who knew...This is fabulous.

the guy jammed. we were blessed to have him in our lifetimes.

if only Buddy Miles had played Woodstock - he would have set the bar so high!!!

ah yes, back when music was not white or black...it was all good. Some way better than others s'all.

this sounds a lot like "breathe" by Pink Floyd....especially the intro and its also played similar

The SPIRIT of this song and the music of that time will forever live. It was's just one kind of music or even about race. The SPIRIT of the time was felt in all the music and song of that time. I for one, thank the GODS that I was raised by that SPIRIT.
Santant, Rush, Yes, Marvin Gay, Buddy Miles, Hendrix and the list goes on and on. That SPIRIT is alive and well in many of us. Pass it on.
