  • just a simple question here.

because you didnt make walter talk, do you still create blend shapes and controls to make him talk?

  • @LeonardoGulli Yeah because he still has to be able to emote with his mouth. Honestly, the mouth setup was pretty bad on Walter because my blend shapes weren't very good. That's why his mouth doesn't move more.

  • thanks 2:58

  • this is great love the expressions..

  • Yeah, rigging is by far the most frustrating thing, followed by textures and lighting. I use Blender, so I don't have the cool tools you have (That I know of), But I've learned that turning SubSurf on helps with a few of the realistic issues. Turning them off for animating helps with the CPU, so that's a plus. Anyway, great videos. I may not have Maya, but I'm learning a LOT. Thanks

  • I hate rigging it was so HARD :(

  • i had once tried the bones-in-clothes setup for deformations (like the tie/collar bit), but i had thought that surely it wouldn't work. glad to see it's useful implementation :)

Confucius say: work smarter, not harder :D

  • woah this is awesome, can you make tut on it? i use maya and am a noob.. thanks [:d]

  • Nope, just crazy. :)

  • Omg, then you must be a genius! :D
