  • Rachel: Just out of curiosity, what's the most intelligent? The bottlenose? Aren't there some scientists who think the orca is actually more intelligent?

  • Lol i guess im lucky being a submariner. Im a sonar operator so i get to hear these wonderful creatures chatting to each other all the time. And yeah they are very curious about us. They come really close just to see who and what we are. I guess its because we're making an unfamiliar noise to them

  • dude to know that something that huge can stalk anything is pretty impressive, i just like all of those from the big blue really though.

  • @AlphaGinga The bottlenose also have superior cognitive functioning from what I understand.

  • @DavidNeiwert Orca's have larger brains, better memories and a more diverse culture. Bottlenose have self-awareness and the capacity for humour. Needless to say it's a subject to much controversy, they are both incredibly intelligent Cetaceans.

  • bawia sie paczka chipsow, albo praza popcorn... nie wiem co konkretnie robia ale cos kombinuja te orki ;]

  • Very cool to watch and hear .

  • why does 7:00 to 8:00 sound like a helicopter landing and taking off?

  • @DavidNeiwert Yes but scientists all argue with the correct way to measure intelligence, but by many orcas are recently considered the ultimate hunter above great white sharks along with the most intelligent. They are also believed to be going through an evolution right now which would be really cool :-)

  • The Orca is (in my humble opinion) the most intelligent and most well rounded animal in the animal kingdom. The Orca is the only animal known to actually stalk and kill a Great White Shark. There are certain pods of Orcas that know if they come from underneath the shark turn said shark on its side quickly, the shark will be paralyzed and unable to defend itself. Researchers have just found this out in the last decade or so.

  • @Niiiiiiickk Also, they are whales because dolphins are whales...

  • Someone help me out on this - It's sounds like there's wind in this recording, but can you hear the whales if you were standing on a ship or at the beach or do you need waterproof recording equipment?
