Sordid Lives: The Series

Sordid Lives: The Series is the story of a small town Texas family presided over by Peggy, a good Christian woman who begins a secret affair with a married man as she takes in the town bar singer who has just been released from prison. Peggy's wild child daughter LaVonda lives with Peggy's chain-smoking sister, while Peggy's good girl Latrelle hides a growing pill problem. Peggy's third child Brother Boy Ingram is locked in a mental institution where he performs as Tammy Wynette. He plots to escape while he attends therapy sessions with the crazy Dr. Eve who believes she can dehomosexualize him. Sordid Lives is the universally relatable story of a town of family and friends and the trials and tribulations they go through as they learn to see each other for who they are instead of who they wish each other to be.

@stebear58 thanx for info- i found out about this series only today as i only heard today the rue mc died last year. i would love to see this show so will fish round u tube for some scenes... the theme music is magnificant. with young folks at home - i dont get to flick thru sky to see what is on besides spongebob etc... and i think film 24 is now no more anyway

i have all the DVD's the film but i had to get the TV show Sordid Lives in the USA when i was there in June 2010 it's fab shame it's not UK TV yes i know it's been on Film 24 but late at night and if u only have SKY and it fab to Leslie Jordan on Paul O Grady show last night (12/11/10)
