Indeed she was, but how many others have been robbed of a well deserved Oscar? Peter O'Toole has been nominated 8 times and never won it. Many lesser actors than him have won it. There's a heap of pretty overrated actors and actresses out there who somehow won an Oscar.

True, in the 50's the Oscar still meant something, unlike today, but it seems Grace Kelly had "charmed" most of the judges so she somehow won the Oscar that year.

every time i see a imitation o judy i come to realise there will only be one judy garland she was great and we will all miss her.
