Once again, play defensively (I cut down on that to reduce recording time).

If you're going to have Ogma counter-attack, equip Iron Sword if the fighter has 8 SPD. Usually I have Darros suicide to deal some damage to that pirate that ends up on the bridge, making it easy to kill him but I'm trying a little experiment with Darros so that's not case here.

Anyway, I foolishly forgot to look at the Boss' stats and he ended up with the rare 12 SPD which made him harder to beat (if he had 11 SPD, I'd have a few more units to use against him, Jagen for example). Once again, due to limitations in this chapter, the boss is quite difficult but you can beat him by first having your strongest counter-attack land on him (probably Jagen with Silver Spear, but I couldn't do that cause of the 12 SPD he has) and then have any1 who doesn't get doubled attack him, hope that he ends up dead... if some1 ends up dead, just restart the map save. Least I got lucky with that critical Ogma landed

As for the video being split into 4 parts... Hypercam was being gay.

  • Honestly, these videos dont help me as much as they should because of the crits. if these vids are simply to show off however, then they are fine, but I was hoping to get some good strategy out of this, especially at the beginning and for the boss.

  • A bit on the video description elaborates why it had to be a crit. The boss normally has 11 SPD but I forgot to reset cause of his 12 SPD and therefore, had less units that could fight him.

What you need to do is simply have some1 like Jagen deal a heavy counter-attack and then ambush him with every1 else. Just use the save point before having Jagen counter-attack though.

  • I know how they say this in movie theaters. . . but silence isnt golden right now while watching this vid.

  • If I could record the audio for this, I would. Blame Hypercam for being stupid and listen to your own MP3s.

  • Generals suck in general. Don't bother with the "twink" strat of Sedgar and Wolf becoming generals. They suck in H5. You need Draug to gain stat points in DEF AND SPD. Yep. You must RNG to get an uber armored unit but he will hand ANYTHING not a Manakete their ass. Not even the magic units can beat him if his SPD is maxed even in arena!

  • You DO NOT NEED CRITS. Hell I let Jagen die in the first chapter by suicide rushing going west. What you need is to let ALL units that can wield "Javelin" waste time in chapter 1 pointlessly attack the boss. Eventually someone will "A" lance and likely Gordon will "A" bows. That is ALL you need. All H5 mode is is overpowered weapon levels. You grind your weapon levels and H5 mode is nothing. It's either you die because you are underleveled, you barely live due to a crit, or you live due to grind

  • Hey just very recently I noticed your vids and they're helpful so far. Want to ask something in general for this H5 walkthrough. So I guess the knights' lvl is critical in beating the games? And in general the defensive based strategy is required for most of chapters? Which other characters else should be given more exps except the 2 knights?

  • i serously need a strategy for this lvl can some one help me

  • then go to McGammar hes the best, he shows off and he gives u great strategies.

  • Kind of a awkward silence. . .
