The weekends of 09 to 10 and 16 to 17 July 2011, Wim Streep will have his soloexhibition at the Weekend Gallery Loolaan 49 in Apeldoorn. Thirty larger and smaller hand-painted works based on own his photographs are showed.
Doing Plein air painting, in major shopping malls, is practical speaking impossible.
The interpreted snapshot provides a seemingly fleeting picture. By his own way of dealing with the painttube he creates a graphical surprisingly vivid colorful images.
His way of working is very innovating. Wim declares himself a postmodernist with a link to pop art.
After the enthusiastic reception of his hometown Apeldoorn and surroundings 0paintings and his birthplace Amsterdam series came a follow-up assignment which he is hard working on.
As a result of this an European Art Talent Hunters discovered the talent of Wim Streep and that has resultated in a tour of changing exhibitions through whole Europe wich more than 10 works.
The consequence could be that Wim Streep perhaps will leave Apeldoorn and Holland due to the rapidly changing anti-creative artists climate. Such as the robbery of the increase from 6 to 19% VAT on handmade art by living artists. Which is the direct cause is that this art market completely collapsed.
Unfortunately, they forget that the on creative market indirectly, many thousands of people are depending and to 35 billion euros goes.
Our neighbouring countries like Germany and France are much better for their creative artists. Netherlands is by this way of dealing laughing at by Europe.
Many foreign tourists asked already where the Contemporary Dutch Art can be seen. By demolition of facilities, this will be now increasingly more difficult.

De weekends van 09-10 en 16-17 juli 2011, heeft Wim Streep
zijn solo-expositie in de Weekend Galerie Loolaan 49 te Apeldoorn met ruim dertig grotere en wat kleinere handgeschilderde werken gebaseerd op eigen
fotomateriaal.
Het plein air schilderen in grote drukten zoals winkelpromenades is vrijwel onmogelijk. De vertolkte snapshot levert een schijnbaar vluchtig beeld op. Door zijn eigen manier van omgaan met de tube ontstaat een tekenachtig
verrassend levendig kleurrijk beeld. Het is een manier van werken dat erg
vernieuwend aandoet. Wim verklaart zich zelf tot een postmodernist met een link naar de popart.
Na de enthousiaste ontvangst in Apeldoorn van zijn geschilderde serie Apeldoorn en omstreken is een vervolgopdracht gekomenwaaraan hard wordt gewerkt.
Als gevolg van deze opdracht hebben Europese Creatieve Talentenjagers
Wim Streep ontdekt en zal erin resulteren dat zijn werk met wisselende exposities van meer dan 10 werken op tournee door heel Europa gaat.
De consequentie zou kunnen zijn dat Wim Streep Apeldoorn enmisschien wel Nederland gaat verlaten mede door het snel veranderende anti creatieve kunstenaars klimaat. Zoals de overval van het verhogen van 6 naar 19%
BTW op handgemaakte kunst door levende kunstenaars. Hetgeen de directe oorzaak is dat deze markt volledig instortte. Men vergeet helaas dat van de creatieve markt indirect vele duizenden mensen afhankelijk zijn en het om 35 miljard euro gaat.
Onze omliggende landen zoals Duitsland en Frankrijk gaan veel beter met hun
kunstenaars om. Nederland wordt door deze wijze van omgang het lachertje
van Europa.
Veel buitenlandse toeristen vragen zich nu al af waar de spaarzame Nederlandse Hedendaagse kwalitatieve kunst te zien is. Door het
afbreken van de voorzieningen wordt dit alsmaar moeilijker.
