Sounds like they mixed a bit of Down Argentine Way in here....lol (Some of Stormy Weather as well)! I love this guys...Harold was fine...lol Heck both of them were...
BOTTA E RISPOSTA was a very famous quiz broadcast on Italian Radio (Radio Firenze) after World War II. So famous that it was made a film on it, with lot of stars. There is also Louis Armstrong in the picture who shot it during his tour in 1949.
thanks for the info and for taking the time to research it and put it here. it's valuable info to be in the ''know'' about anything. KNOWLEDGE is POWER worth more than money !!! Thanks for the power !!!
The song's in Italian, not French (per Harold's request to Fayard to speak Italian at 3:16 and his saying he'll sing a "canto" in "Italiana" at 3:26. The film was an Italian picture, though a dubbed version was released in France in 1951. The opening song has some English and French mixed in, but it's mostly Italian. The English title for the film was "I'm in the Revue."
I got this from the Internet. Anyone with a better command of French, Italian, or even English is welcome to correct me.
