I think we were separated at birth, because everything you say, I'm just saying the same thing out loud to my screen at about the same time. (e.g. too big a markup on 1/2 oz silver, that variety is cool, etc, etc). The only thing I'd do differently is: Cut off *all* that ugly plastic wrap. Then use cotton gloves as needed to handle the shiny.

Everyone I talk to almost all buys it online. Alot of them don't have a coin store in their town, I was surprised how many there were in mine. The premium on stuff you get under an ounce is very very low compared to buying online. I think it's 1% above face value price, if any.

I also have the urge to just get my pirate chest and take them out of their protectors and just dump them in there for a picture but yes picking them all out and putting them away without marking them and having too many uncirculated doesnt work for that shot...but you have agreat collection..i can see you in 20 years with a stash that treasure hunters would be proud to go look for, just make sure they dont outlive you and your kids cant find them..mine are all SDB just so they can find them

I like to collect the variations and i know its meant ive missed out on some good swings in prices by being selective but it meant i got koalas, kookaburras, kangaroos, kiwi, wolf, bear, cougar, eagles, maples, britannias, elephants, and ingots from engelhard, monarch, prospector, liberty, mouse, pandas, lady fortuna's, JM, pan am, anaheim, stagecoach fragmented back, cuban, libertad, etc but i figure iof silver drops i got a nice collection and if it rises i got a nice collection/investment..
