@fleskebille there is a major difference between a democracy and the republic that we live in. In our republic we have certain God given rights  that are not be infringed upon by our fellow man. In a simple democracy any matter can be put to a vote, like what car you drive, how much money you make, who you marry, and what you eat. Democracy only respects the right of the majority. Democracy is not freedom. Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat for lunch.
