This pianist's interpretation is too left field. The rubatos are overly exagerated and some notes are anticipated with needless pauses.
The loud passages are too ponderous and explode at you from the soft section.

where is the dance rythm in the piece?,.... it is an andaluza,.... listen to De Larrocha,....

Omg, I havent heard his name for a while, please go back to concert stage!!! All the so called pianists are not artists, but robots...

Pogorelich plays Spanish Dance No.5 the way my father used to. The beginning sounds nice when it's slow, doesn't sound hurried and thrown aside to get to the colorful notes and all the pauses in the right places.
I like his take on this piece, although my fathers will always be No.1 XD.
