Sharkoon Silent Eagle SE 120mm Fan. I believe this is the 1000rpm version, although when I bought it sites didn't list the rpm, so I couldn't find the 2000rpm version which is the one I wanted to test.

It comes with a 12v Molex cable, a 12v PWM cable, a 9v Molex cable, and a 7v Molex cable. I recommend running this fan on 12v, as it is still very quiet, but you want it to move as much air as possible. Quieter than the Scythe GentleTyphoon, an already quiet fan, but doesn't move as much air.

  • Hi there, I'm looking for a quiet case fan (exhaust) and I really don't need to move a lot of air (I've cool components) -- Do you recommend me this one?

  • @tomdanx Yes this would work. I would recommend an intake fan as well, and keep in mind that this fan does not move that much air, which is why it is very quiet.

  • Is this for CPU? and will it fit on AMD sockets?

  • @daleskill1 Yes, just make sure your cooler is compatible with AMD sockets. Most coolers nowadays use 120mm fans, which means they can fit just about any 120mm fan. This fan is silent, but does not move a great amount of air, so I would only recommend it for a processor that runs cool, not a gaming machine.

  • @ 9v it looks like its hardly spinning. Is it pushing out a reasonable amount of air at least? I must admit though, on 12v it's very silent. Lets just hope it sounds the same once you put it into a case.

  • @CubeLuda At 9v it is minimally effective. I would only use it on 12v.

  • @tomdanx you should defenitley get this fan my mate has two and you cannot haer them unless you put your ear next to it only then will you hear the air rushing through it.

  • @theonefreeman12 The camera's mic isn't great at low volume levels, turn up the volume.

  • i think this guy muted the camera when he turned the fan on
