very good job!
-
what do you use to hold the stripes down??
-
it's called a mask
-
how'd you decide on the pattern?
-
I applaud you on your DIY project. And great video presentation. Hopefully that paint choice doesn't scuff up or scratch easy. That is what makes a high end paint job worth it when it can take some playing abuse. Cool pattern.

nice ... but wear a mask because i think spraying cars for years with no mask gave my dad cancer ... dont want to sound like a whiner but it happens

Ive got a couple of questions man:
1. How long did you wait in between each coat of paint?
2. What type of paint did you use?
3. Did you put any finishing product on it or is it all just paint?

@Agent2306 Hi, The truth is with this one I did really quickly in a single weekend just because I didn't have the time to do it other time, I was careful not to allow any running or dripping!!
1, Wait 24-48hrs min between each coat, longer for heavier coats and of course take local temp into account
2, I used Export branded enamel autopaint from a bargin store, Its cheap at $3.95 a can but it works well.
3, Just a couple of clear coats of varnish of the brand paint as the colour coats
