Salvation - Rise To Remain

Rise To Remain are a 5-piece London based metal band. Incorporating the sounds of bands such as Metallica, Lamb Of God, Chimaira, Unearth and Killswitch Engage, they are a band on a mission to create a new sound and to avoid the tremendous pitfalls of musical plagiarism. In recent times they have played Download Festival, completed a UK Tour and seen several prestigious slots at shows around London. Hot off their performance at Download Festival, they are excited to deliver their energetic sound to Bloodstock festival, and play with bands whom have had a major impact on their sound and whom they have looked up to since forming in early 2007. Since appearing on a Metal Hammer "Incoming 2008" covermount CD in January 2008 under their old name "Halide", their recognition has begun to skyrocket. 2008 has surely been a fantastic year for the band, and with great things on the horizon, Rise To Remain are surely ones to watch.
