they were that size out farther. these are alot bigger than 6. there around 10 feet about 100 yards out. we fish in 6 foot waves. theres no way we could go out into this stuff. there isnt anything to compare it to really. that board walk is almost 20 feet high. and they were comeing 3/4 of the way up. some were spraying over top of it.

Nice video. Those waves are good sized, but not 17ft or higher. Whenever you see those wave heights on the news, it means they are out in the open water. Sometimes waves that big can hit the shore, but they'd tower over you The largest waves in this, the ones way off in the distance, might be 6ft high.

ya they are, this was supposed to be a storm like the edmunds sank in. i have another video thats longer different pictures and video.
