  • @TH3Omaster Lyrics aren't what solely make a song good. Many people, like myself, prefer emotion expressed through instrumental and vocal techniques. If you're listening to extreme music for lyrics, you're looking for the wrong music. I recommend you try radio friendly rock like Nickelback, they might suit you more.

  • Dear, I'll stay gold just to keep these pasts at bay

To keep the loneliest of nights from claiming you

and to keep these longest of days from waking you

For I felt the greatest of winters coming

and I saw you as seasons shifting from blue to grey

That's where the coldest of these days await me

and distance lays her heavy head beside me

There I'll stay gold, forever gold

    Yes GREAT lyrics

  • @smokeit13 I don't hear those anywhere in here.

  • 5 dislikes? Really?

  • @DoubleEdgedSword12 Damn man you got jizzed on.

  • @drslobulus damn man you got trolled lol

  • Holy shit the sound quality on this video is horrible. Can't even hear the fucking guitars and they're the loudest thing imaginable on the actual album...

  • @Human8Stain lol nickelback lyrics suck dick, lol these lyrics actually do have some poetic value in them. people these days man, am i right?

  • @haloinahaystack Most people do not realize a lot of the lyrics on Jane Doe, and some of their other stuff, aren't ever vocalized.

  • @Human8Stain I hate people who say that "lol you cant even sing along with it" or "lol u cant even dance to it" *bobble head*

  • @Human8Stain What you say is true if you were talking about Attack! Attack! or something. Because good talented music can come in all shapes and sizes. I love poetry, and i love extreme talent, and Converge pulls both off extremely easy. One of their songs has a riff in 19/16 time signature, and it pisses me off when i have difficulty playing it. xD that's the music i look for. And when i can't play it, i search emotions through lyrics, and that calms me down quite a bit. But that's just me.

  • @crazyperson6 Jake Bannon personally likes his vocals loud and distorted. That's his kind of style and alot of the musical parts he makes for the band, he always has a reason for it. That's just how straight edge is. Converge basically invented the Matchcore genre in the 90's and I don't think they'd change an ounce of what they do. xD
