@SportbikeWrench Does the remapping, Mean never now, It's been over a year ????
-
@dakedub teh 650 was put to the back of the line so we could finish the GSXR project and the R6 project. Then we acquired an 09 R1 project...... the Ninja won't be remapped any time soon.

Could i get this done where i bought my bike?
Im planning on adding a custom exhaust, but also want to increase the sound of the bike, to make it more aggressive, what mods do you recommend??

@wkmatsumoto any dealership can fit a pipe or slip on. A slip on takes minutes, and the pipe can take a while as the video shows. Slip on is the best bang for the $.

@SportbikeWrench Thanks you so much for the information!! What do you mean by slip on?? What would you suggest for an aggressive sound on this bike??

@wkmatsumoto a slip on exhaust replaces the very last piece of the pipe commonly known as the "can". Therefore it allows the catalytic converter to stay in place. It is a great low cost solution to better engine performance and more aggressive sound.

cant wait for the remapping show

@rolandbuntea yes, once the bike is mapped in general it does not need to be done again provided you service the engine correctly at all intervals. Eventually with age and mileage the engine compression will weaken, so at that time the fuel map will not be as effective.
