I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. He is good for Texas??? What about the TTC he has snuck in under the people of Texas? It's estimated cost is almost 200 billion dollars and it is already setup to be sold to a forign company from Italy for a whooping 500 million! Wow what a deal for Texans right? and then we get to pay tolls if we want to drive on it. Thanks rick perry.....Oh ya and all the polls from the people were 99+% agianst it!!!!!!!!!! But i'm glad he's looking out for Texas........

If Texas didn't have oil, how could it have avoided being in red considering its size?

So the state is in the black. Too bad money is not being spent on our pitifully performing schools and while on the subject of public monies and schools... where is the lotto money going aside from new temporary school buildings? Why are state taxes increased each year sometimes by as much as 7% yet the state's infrastructure is in such decline, i.e., 7 years later I35 is STILL under construction. Who won that contract ?
