I am not familiar with the camera model but i had Canon Powershot SX220 HS later swap to SX230 HS, i am also using these speeds, 5x,10,20x in miniature effect mode but the i want the real HD quality size.... don't know how to do it or it may not be available.... Good one, u might need tripod... keep on posting

@dickmsabax There is a miniature mode in canon SX30 which makes this kind of video automatically. It lets you define the sharp area in the picture and everything else will be slightly blurred which makes that miniature effect. You can also choose the speed 5x, 10x, or 20x.
