I went to school in Nepal with guys who eventually went on to join the Gurkha regiments. I can tell you they are smiling all the time, laid back, merry and appear harmless. But when you piss them off, oh boy, they become like some other totally different person and really kick your ass. They are afraid of nobody and thing. I have experienced this first hand. The Gurkha legend is not a legend. It is a reality.
