I work for a rare book store in SC. Foreedge painting is no photoshopped trick. It was used mostly for upscale books in the 1800s. It is amazing. So much detail

I've seen three of these in my life, one being a double (painted on the "front" and "back" of the page") It's always breath taking.

@kingofschnitzels Since the bible is printed off a computer and not written by hand I'm sure the computer with an imaging program does it.

Usually such comments are made by trolls. Idiots who crave any attention and since they cannot get positive attention, they get off on bad negative attention and act as jackasses.
I'm not happy with it either...so annoying.
