Ilyas Kashmiri is the head of the Al-Qaeda's head of military operations. He carries a bounty of six hundred thousand million dollars on his head. Kashmiri is seen as as the Al-Qaeda's guerilla expert, who turns strategic vision into reality. Many call Kashmiri a dangerous mastermind of terror who clearly is trying to be the next Osama.

In a recent interview, the man who is being called the next Osama bin Laden and Ilyas Kashmiri has a chilling warning for India. Kashmiri said that the Mumbai attacks are nothing compared to what is in store. The Al-Qaeda's guerilla expert has also said that he is not the traditional jehadi who only indulges in slogans, and has more action and less rhetoric.

The FBI said David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana, were arrested for plotting a major terror attack in India at the behest of Pakistan-based LeT, were in constant touch with the deadly Ilyas Kashmiri in Pakistan.

After Mumbai's 26/11 carnage, the Lashkar were planning to target the national capital. Investigations by the FBI reveals that David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana who were arrested by the FBI at the Chicago airport in October were part of an LeT plan of a major terror attack the National Defence College in Delhi.

Federal prosecutors said in court papers that Chicago businessman Rana in September talked with another man charged in the case about designating the National Defence College of India as among possible targets they might pursue.

"Recorded conversations involving the defendant, emails and other documentary evidence demonstrate that the defendant conspired to provide and did provide material support to the conspiracy,' prosecutors said in court papers.

The court papers were filed as Magistrate Judge Nan Nolan met with attorneys to discuss the possible release of Rana on bond.

Prosecutors offered the new allegations to reinforce their argument that Rana should remain in the Metropolitan Correctional Center and not be released.

And, even Danish investigators have claimed to have recieved information of a plot to target Delhi and a Danish newspaper building.

Jacob Scharf, Head of Danish intelligence, said, "We have information that they planned another Mumbai type attack on a Danish Newspaper and a college in Delhi."

Patrick Blegen, Tahawwur Rana's lawyer, however, said that his client had no information about Headley's plans.

The FBI's papers say the main target was the National Defence College. But there are several important buildings around the campus. Birla House, the place where Mahatama Gandhi was gunned down, is frequented by tourists is a stone throws away.
