That's really useful footage. It seems that the ventilation occurs when the T gets close to the surface, sucking air down the rudder. I get exactly the same on a short T foil rudder I have for the SK4 skiff when sailing offwind in waves. You fly off the back of a wave and the next thing there's a lot of noise from the rudder and you can't steer!

actually, now I did install fences !! it prevent ventilation and works really well !
