http://www.thunderbirdsync.com. The Gmail Thunderbird combination is very powerful. You can set up Thunderbird to sync with Gmail so you can access all your email, online or offline via Thunderbird on your own computers and also access your email anywhere using Gmail.
With this easy email solution you can sync your laptop with your work computer, your home computer, your mobile devices and any other computers you like. All your email is perfectly and automatically synchronized on all your devices.
You can even setup Thunderbird to sync with another email client via Gmail - on PC or Mac! At the Thunderbird Sync site you'll find more videos showing how to do this, plus a free guide with clear instructions and screenshots.

  • Why not write the email once you have an internet connection? I kinda get it but it seems a bit redundant.

  • @AaronTrutsJC - If you are reading your email on a plane or a train where you do not have an internet connection it is easier if you can respond to your email after you have read it... once you get a connection you click Send and your replies are sent...

This means you get more value out of the time you're on the plane and you can relax once you get home or to your hotel room...

Hope this explains the added value of working with your email while you are offline...

  • Link is fixed MrDoublehappy, thanks for pointing that out! Have you tried the full Easy-Email solution yet?

  • @ThunderbirdSync my mistake, apologies, rant withdrawn, with no small amount of humility :)

  • @MrDoublehappy Sorry to hear you're not getting good sound. It's fine on my machine and I've just tested it on a Mac and another Windows computer and it is fine, a bit on the quiet side but definitely audible. Not sure what I can do to help....

  • Great video! looking forward to trying this one out soon!!! thanks- melody
