WHO growth chart for breastfed babies (Paragraph taken directly from website)
http://www.loveyourbaby.com/baby-height-and-weight-chart.html
New baby height and weight charts have been developed by the World Health Organization based on studies following exclusively breastfed babies. The study was done from 1997 to 2003 to create new growth curves for assessing the growth and development of infants and young children around the world. While the natural feeding choice is breastfeeding, older baby height and weight charts were developed following formula fed babies.

  • very informational! i'm having the same problem. thanks a lot for the tips!!

  • @ArmindaHeart It seems many of us are and I don't feel like its just Ella anymore. From all the other comments it seems as though many toddlers are like this.

  • Thank you for this video! i have 15 month old who by now i think she weights 18 bls its really frustating, she stillls breastfeeds and is such a picky eater! and when she actually does like something she only eat a little bit, she doesn't like whole milk so i give her Pediasure which of course i have to force her to drink about 4 oz a day!

  • @sindysb2003 After making this vid and having so many comments that their child does the same I don't feel alone either. I have pediasure for ella as well.

  • Honey, please do not worry about your child's weight. If she is hitting her milestones, she is fine! My best friend's daughter was tiny, tiny, tiny. They fed that kid constantly and now she is 6 and weighs almost 80lbs, which is morbidly obese! My daughter is 13 months old and just now weighs 17lbs, and is still breastfed. Not once has our pedi told us to try to increase her weight. She did say, however, that she is just going to be little. Your dd is smart, she knows when to stop eating.

  • @Aliwisha1 I don't feel so alone anymore! Joscelyn is more of a snacker and it drives me crazy. All she has eaten today is a cheese stick, 4 crackers and a cereal bar. Her Dr. recommended pediasure and I've been doing that a few times a week.

I don't want her to be dependent on it, but when she doesn't eat I don't know what to do.

  • @Kayleebob This is what I think too. Then when we do get weight on our kids its too much and they get mad saying the child is overweight.

  • @AmyLizz Your welcome :)

  • @AmyLizz I think some of them just don't understand that some kids are just small!
