*You may have to turn up the volume to hear the narration.* For the final project in my Environmental Sociology class, we had to create another photo story, but this time we were supposed to clearly state our opinion about the issue we decided to discuss. I chose to talk about the debate between whether or not, in our quest to create a truly sustainable world, we should just restructure our current society OR create a whole new society. This is a complex issue, so I examined it through the lens of sustainable architecture. I presented what most people think of as green architecture and then explained how these practices are not really encompassing the whole issue or going about it in the right way. Ultimately, I argue that we need to create a whole new society in order to be truly sustainable.
