Yma Sumac was fully capable of singing the Queen of the Night's Der Holle Rache aria in the traditional Mozart opera style. She could sing the high F's and was indeed a coloratura soprano but her immense talent was such that she could sing practically anything. She was from another planet! Her vocal octaves ranged from the highest notes to the lowest notes! I loved this Italian mambo version of the aria!!!
