Paddock Stands are FANTASTIC

I just bought this BikeTek rear paddock stand from eBay for £25, and it's awesome! My Honda SLR 650 doesn't come with a centre stand so performing maintenance can be tricky. Paddock stands solve this problem by holding the bike securely upright so you can work on it with greater ease.

I had the problem and opted to fit a centre stand as i cannot use a paddock stand while out on the road davey, so that was the reason i got that and it was more expensive than the paddock stand but its on and fitted now.

But each to their own mate

@thatmanfromyorkshire I sold the bike in the video a while ago, my current bike has a centre stand, I do prefer centre stands but if someone's bike can't be fitted with one then a paddock stand is very useful.

hey pal goat one o those stands an aw an i understand yer accent it's no that bad bein scottish in scotland ... just orderd the matching front one as my speedo drive took a knock off my lock that was on my brake disk grrrrrr i can be forgetfull so have some work to do .. but will be handy for oil changes / brakes and everything else we are sorted just cant level the bike any other way.. the front one is only £17 plus £6 postage good video and quality stands

I just bought this exact stand model from ebay as my Honda Hornet doesn't have a center stand which is a pain 0 the problem is I need another person to hold the bike up while I use the paddock stand as the bike is far too heavy to do this alone.. these are fantastic things for the price, they really make things easier maintenance wise.

@zakyum Oh yes sorry, I thought you might have been talking about that video, but I wanted to make sure. His name's Gareth, he doesn't have his own channel at the moment but he does have a video camera so maybe he'll post videos soon.
