Paul Ryan calls for reclamation of American Idea; denounces crony capitalism

Underneath all of this (health care, financial overhaul, cap-and-trade) is a common ideological theme. What's at play here is the American idea versus the notion of turning our country into a European welfare state, where the goal of government is no longer equalizing opportunities for individuals, but rather equalizing the results of peoples lives. That is why we in the opposition party owe it to the American people to give you a real alternative to reclaim the American idea, which made us the greatest, most exceptional nation in the world.

Paul Ryan gets the best health care money can buy and you're payin for it-SUCKERS! Meanwhile, he's trying to privatize it so the industry can jack up your premiums (if you're lucky enough to afford them) even more than they are now. I will give Paul Ryan a shot but he like others needs to know that he is being watched. The days of phony support for the constitution, of phony conservatism, of phony Republican ideals is over.

I am mostly libertarian. And by that measure I judge the Republicans. They are on permanent notice and I will not suffer any more neo-cons because of them.

Mike, in the last year a lot of conservatives have had their epiphany. The days where the neo-cons were successful in pulling the wool over our eyes have come to an end. That is why when you look at the Teaparty movement, you will find that most of those people also strongly denounce the Republicans.

I believe Paul Ryan to be among the people that have seen the error of their ways. I agree however that the RINO's and neo-cons need to be hunted down and purged.
