The goal here is not a straightforward one like most of the day stages. You need to collect 300 Rings for the Goal Ring to appear first. THEN you can end the stage by reaching it. There are many paths to take; the general idea is that the higher up you go, the more Rings you can find. However, the Goal is accessible through only the highest path; there's an alternate route that's not easy to find that leads you higher up still.

It's of utmost importance to boost into the Goal Ring, since it's worth roughly 10,000 points if you do. If you just go into the Goal Ring unboosted, you'll have a Speed score of 0. Considering that scores here are pretty low, 50,000 points yielding an S-Rank and you go down 1 rank for every 5,000 points, this can mean the difference betwene a B-Rank and an S-Rank.

I never found a Trick opportunity in this stage, really. I don't know why it was part of the total.

The same goes for Savannah Citadel Act 3 though.

It took me several tries to figure out how to get to the Goal Ring. After that, finishing the stage was easy. But the S-Rank was very difficult.
