Dude!!! Bass and drums were bitchin at me today to get a loop pedal and drummer kept sayin the Giga Delay... but all the videos I saw, your was the most effective... even though theres a popping sound I was able to see how it works... ESPECIALLY how you can tap it again and the part comes back (After your chorus section), SOLD!!!!! Thanks buddy!

Hey @ralphhogaboom Fellow FAWMer here. Nice explanation. I've been thinking about buying a looping pedal, specifically the RC-20xl but am still not sure. I've been scouring vids trying to get a good idea of how this thing works and if I could use it. Thanks for a quick, clean tutorial on it.

Are the durations of the overdubs determined by the duration of the first loop? Or is it possible to play an overdub that is longer than the original loop? Thanks!

@jda4182 They are determined by the first loop. There's another boss pedal, the RC-50 (much more expensive) that doesn't have this limit, but it's a bit more complicated to use - haven't gotten the hang of mine just yet. With the RC20, I loop a phrase more times through if I need longer phrases on top.

i have one of these...got it today....how do i go about saving a loop so i can come back to it another time and re use it

@arlobill I never permanently write my loops, since I use the pedal for live looping only. However, BOSS has a short PDF about using the WRITE button to save the loop to the internal memory. Check out the BOSS US site and look for the RC-20XL Turbo Start Guide for the skinny on it.
