The St George Illawarra Dragons are seeking to appoint a Digital Communications Co-ordinator to join its Communications team.

This is no ordinary job, we are not looking for an ordinary person.

Reporting to the Executive Manager of Communications, this role requires you to work within the Communications team being accountable for the development and management of the Club's digital media assets.

The main responsibilities of this role include: * Maintain and develop the club's website in co-operation with the organisations business channels * Manage and implement the Club's social and digital media strategy in co-operation with the organisations business channels * Assist in the production and development of content for Dragons TV * Co-ordinate internal departmental digital communication * Manage external supporter correspondence * Assist with other projects within the Communications Team and across the business as required * Ability to design and implement online graphic activations

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes: * Enthusiastic professional with experience in website content development, social networking and marketing through the web and emerging mobile devices and platforms. * Friendly person who can work with all departments in the organization as well as work on their own to complete tasks * Self-motivated and pro-active person that finds reward in achieving and providing a quality product * Interest in sport -- Rugby League preferred * Available to work outside of regular work hours, including weekends, especially game days * Ability to think outside the square and always looking out for opportunities * Able to work within Club and NRL guidelines * Ability to write in styles suitable for website and social networking formats * Strong understanding of emerging mobile devices, technologies and platforms for communicating with immediacy 1. Produce a 30 second YouTube clip on why you think you're the best person for the job and add the "DigitalDragon" tag.
