After Effects Advanced Muzzle Flash Tutorial

Hello! In this tutorial we are gonna learn how to create a realistic muzzle flash all from scratch! I hope you enjoy this tutorial. Also if you noticed that it ends suddenly, you are right. @pinkeinke2 Dude... pistols do have muzzle flashes. Go, buy a decent gun, shoot it, there is aboout a 60% chance it will have muzzle flashes. Or watch FPS russia... Most of his guns have muzzle flashes, alot of them are pistols, and those are real :)

@pinkeinke2 in 99% of the movies there are muzzle flashes. I know they are not realistic, but it makes the scenes look better, so the visual effects departments throw them in.

most pistols dont have muzzle flashes, just plain smoke and certanly not this big fire coming out...so this is extremly unrealistic, watch someone fire a pistol and u see what i mean, well physicaly there is one but its between frames and u will need a slow motion high speed camera to catch it with ur eye or on tape so its still unrealistic and as i said very many guns dont even have muzzle flashes so when doing this dont bother adding one

can anyone tell me how to turn off borders cuz when i save the movie there are still appearing the borders of flare layer... i am an amateur user of Adobe After FX
