  • how can you minimize lag if your trying to trigger sounds on a computer (i have the same axiom as you)

  • @Beetlebum1992 Here is what maciekkk123 says below "if you have problem with latency using drumpads on your midi controler, try go to your DAW or sequencer/audio card settings and change the buffer lenght to smaller value .. for me 19 - 26ms works fine (1816 - 1120 samples). This should help you with latency when you using midi.. if you have a lots of wave files in the project and vst effects then computer can have trouble with that short buffer lenght and you need to change the lenght again."

  • Wussup man ? I was jus wonderin how do I change banks with axiom 61 with vsts such as purity albino halion etc?

  • @K1KLASSIC the Global Channel button lets you assign the midi channel if you need to, and use the Program button to change banks, enter a number between 0 and 127 to choose the appropriate bank

  • What did you mean with turn the vass to 0? 3:45

  • @StjMario The note off velocity is seldom used and often ignored by instrument patches. The idea behind note off velocity is that you are taking your hand off of the keyboard or pad at a specific rate. For example, let's say you are playing an acoustic guitar patch with a keyboard that can send a non-zero note off velocity, that patch could play a sound like your fingers are sliding on the string if you move them fast. MIDI keyboards and sequencers usually set the Note Off Velocity to zero.

  • haha a book next to your computer, hacking web service xD

  • Yes. Are you using the MV for your samples? You can do it by importing your samples as instruments and setting the key, do time stretch and chopping where appropriate. My "Setup Keyboard with MV8800 Instruments" video and my "Beat Sync and Time Stretching Basics on MV8800" video might help you get started. I'm overdue for making a video on how to create instrument patches, hopefully soon.

  • QUESTION ! Could you activate samples with the midi controller ? for example ... if I want to put C mayor chord on the key C could I do it ? also with sound fx ? if I can ... how please ! =) great tutorial

  • yes me to, thanks!
