@PunishedByJesus Oh, I don't know, I thought I had been in that space. must have been the light shows we did for GD, etc, Living at a EAKAT house (Poncho Pillow was a pain), All the LSD from Stanfords SLAC, Running the nightclub in Palo Alto; The New Riders of the Purple Sage played first there. .. And that new bus is not the original bus, it's gone:: Even the coolest most liberated harry christmass types succumb to the material idolatry of the ages.....

This culture died in 1974. Everyone went from Psych degrees, Philosophy, etc to Business degrees. UCSanta Cruz went from highest SAT scores, more desirable than Stanford or Yale to the bottom of that list. "We" had an EAKAT house after K Kesey left. We were 19, they 30ish. We had pure LSD from Stanford's SLAC, did Light Shows for Greatful Dead, Family Dog, etc. We were 19 and had a bar to run and We lived up above, next to Stanford's entry! Later the Stanford Book Store @High and University st

Dan Akroyd used to do Synder on Sat Night Live and he was very good at it. What a great interview in the greater picture! That is, if you care about learning about American culture and the strong influence the 60's had on us. I love Kesey's answer about if the drugs hurt him. However, I think a more positive answer is in order.
