The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has a professionally diverse staff of over 1,200, spanning many scientific and academic fields. Our staff and research are unique in that we are spread out across eight states. Our mission is to generate new knowledge in the field of occupational safety and health and to transfer that knowledge into practice for the workers.
