One of the most DRAMATIC and awesome dance song I've ever heard! Liza really outdid herself with this one!

My first reaction when I first heard this was...WTF??? LOL I didn't know anything about Liza at the time and I thought it was a MAN singing! LMAO!!! Then, I saw the video and I was like, "geeez, now THAT is a "drama queen if there ever IS one" LOL

"The sun comes up, I think about you...the coffee cup, I think about you." LMAO!!! :)

And don't even get me started with the PET SHOP BOYS!!! LOL

@jimdivax interesting. I never knew that. I thought PSB (a DANCE band) wrote it for Liza to make her sound NEW in 1989 LOL I was only around 25 when this was a hit in clubs, and we didn't have google, or wikipedia (or the internet! LOL) at that time, so it wasn't easy to search for info :)

@nazreyes lol i agree with u, in our young days there were noway to find out anything about artists.. only what the radio dj wanted to share.... in Spain we had a weekly magazine SuperPop, but will only talk about the top 40 seller of the week... so not even that, and the saturday tv program about pop was more or less the same.... now thanks to internet and discovering many things and putting faces to all the artists....

I never thought I'd like a Sondheim showtune remixed as a dance tune, but everything about it is SO RIGHT!! PSB & Liza?? and this is one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite shows. Liza 80-ized this one so well, I love it!! I can't stop listening to it!
