Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. As Katharine Hepburn famously said, "He gave her class, she gave him sex". A tribute to the best dancing team of all time, who gave us pure, unadulterated, classic, timeless, perfect beauty.

  • Oh, sweetheart, this is most charming! :-) The song together with the clips of this timeless dance duo is an ideal choice! Ginger surely was Fred's girl! They were a match made in heaven and you captured that so very nicely!

By the way, is Seal singing this version of this lovely song?

  • @et7waage1 Hey dear!!! Nooo, this is the original version, sung by The Temptations. Thank you very much for your lovely as ever comment.

  • @poeticjustice2345 I could have sworn it was Seal singing, haha. Though I still think it's not the original 1960s recording of the song. It must be a later one by The Temptations. But that doesn't matter actually. The song is timeless just like Fred & Ginger and so is your video! :-)

  • @et7waage1 The Seal version is slower, I think. Though you are right and this may be a later version by the Temptations.

  • Now this is poetic justice. I loved it.

  • @darkmountains7 hehehe. Thanks!

  • A lovely tribute and great choice of song.

  • Ginger was so very light on her feet--they both looked like they were lifted by the air and danced on fluffy pillows of clouds--they complimented each other like a match made in Heaven! I Love it!!!

  • Oh, I love them! Wonderful video!!

  • Oh man! This is brilliant!

  • Lovey tribute!

  • Great video! They were a great team together!

  • it would have really liked both - Fred and Ginger would be so full of joy if they knew how much they are revered and admired today ... they were always creative in the search for novelty ... whose skills and interpretations impress us again and afresh :)

  • This is so cute! :D
