Two autonomous cameras are set up each spring on the sea ice near the North Pole. This is camera 2 imagery from early July through early August.

The images capture changes in weather and ice conditions as the sea ice drifts across the Arctic Ocean. A map showing the cameras' positions is here: http://j.mp/PoleCamDriftMaps
