Michael Miller exposes the key problems with universal health care, arguing that more bureaucracy and regulation is not the answer to our health care problems. True health care reform means increasing consumer choice, not more government involvement.

"Take a number..." You do realize that the number issuance is only used when their are far too many people in there right? And also if you have a serious injury or illness that you are ushered in right away.

"Your not gonna have the relationship with your doctor who knows you and understands your family life..." first of all that does not at all change how a doctor operates. A doctor does not need to "understand your family life" to diagnose you with terminal cancer and decide the course for a treatment that would best cure your cancer, it is fucking irrelevant. I'm sorry to state the obvious, but having a socialized healthcare system doesn't effect this in the least.

"Imagine if you had to go to the DMV to get your healthcare..." Has this guy seriously ever been in a waiting at a hospital for something like a sprained ankle or a broken leg? I have and the amount of waiting is insane whether your in a private hospital or not. The wait depends on many factors being population, health of the place you are in, the surrounding conditions, etc...

@TimeWarp66 If you want my opinion as to why the former Soviet Union failed was because it was controlled by a dictator that abused his power for his own personal needs. Every form of government looks great on paper, throw in a greedy dictator or when Corporations take over the government it fails. Look at the U.S, Corporations control every aspect of this country and everyone except the top 1% get the shaft. Btw our country is not a true Democracy it's a Republic.
