I always thought this song was about the futility of modern society, how "experts" suggest that thinking about a happy memory can solve any problem, and how everyone seems to obsessed with sex or your know-how when it comes to "hanky-panky". And the struggle to understand it all, when there's so many more pressing matters such as faith and morality.
