Our area could not get MTV until summer of 89. I don't think kids today realize what it was like to have MTV and just be glued to the tv just to wait for your song. Before the days of "my sweet 16 pregnancy". I echo everyone else but MTV sucks now all 10 of their stations. Merry Christmas.

@Squrl0885 Alan Hunter is one of the five original MTV VJs from 1981. The other four were Nina Blackwood, Mark Goodman, J.J. Jackson and Martha Quinn. Nothing will ever match what they brought to MTV in this classic time of the 80's!
