  • Do you have an Aperture brand computer? Why does the audio keep hitching up?

  • @EricNinden fraps cant record @ 130fps and I could not lower the fps of the game to match fraps. and I could not get demos to work in the game for some reason. Its still audible.

  • @Silverson12 Just force vsync in the driver. If you own a standard TFT anything over 60fps doesn't make sense anyway.

  • fps_max ?

  • 2:07 Did Valve just...screw the rules?

  • @fedaykin6 he's at 130 fps; he's TOO fast

  • @fizz142020 And if they change their mind, they can do that all they friggen want to!

  • @ArtypNk To sum up all i've just said:

Valve includes hidden messages in portal 1 after an update for PC.

Hidden messages in Portal 1 are clues ultimatly leading to some early concept art for Portal 2.

    Portal 2 has hidden message.

Hidden message in Portal 2 explains the hidden messages in Portal 1.

  • @ArtypNk I looked it up a little while after writing the comment. The text written on the images is basically describing why and how they implemeted the hidden messages that you could find in the first game, and what they meant. Each image decoded was essentially a clue, which ultimatly lead to the discovory of some concept art for Portal 2. So, basically, the hidden messages were an elaborate way for Valve to tease Portal 2 before it was officially announced.

  • @TheHylianGuard

Yes, you are correct. The noise is actually 3 images with a bunch of techo-babble.

  • @ArtypNk I beleive that the noise the commentary node produces can be decoded into an image. The original portal, after an update on the PC, had radios which produced a similar, high pitched noise. Fans of the game decoded the sound to produce a bunch of different images. It's hard to explain, so I would reccomend looking it up to see for yourself as it is pretty interesting. The reason I found this video was because I found the signal myself today and went to see if anybody had decoded it yet.
