  • I just got some cajon bongos.

Have you ever played em? Would you say your cajon type has more of a sound variety? o:

  • @iSabotage I've never seen those! they certainly sound interesting, i'll have to stop by a guitar center and see if I can find some to play, I imagine there are pros and cons sound wise like with most different drum types, one i can foresee is that the cajon bongos might lose some of that drum set sound for a more jungle-ish bongo sound, which might be what you want, but most people like cajons because it sounds more like a drum set that any other hand drum :)

  • Doesn't seem too easy.. But u make it look easy =)) I'm thinking about buying one of these. Which model/brand do u have and would u advice me to buy?

  • @MartinaGerling

The brand Meinl has a broad selection of cajons and an equally broad price range, many cajonists I know use their instruments with a lot of satisfaction and they can be found in any guitar center. I hope that help :)

It's spanish for box or drawer, while it spelled with a "j" it is pronounced as an H as "J's" are pronounced in spanish, like the word "Julio" which means July is pronounced "Hulio" I speak spanish fluently as well, so I promise, I am pronouncing it correctly :)

  • @tajbangladesh

Looks more like a young Ringo to me.

  • @PowerToThePeople97 theres only one meter (4/4) and one tempo (120bpm), stop spreading these misleading lies.... lol

  • @DecendKnightsofmalta in fact there is a 6/8 and 3/4 and also 9/2 and 1000 other, but you can transform it into 4/4... and dont say a word about musicians!

  • yes all music is in 4/4, i hate people that think 6/8 or 3/4 exist, silly "musicians" weirdo's

  • basically you imitate a snare and a bass?

  • eso.. azotala :3...

    con fuerza

    grrrrrrr

  • yeahy

  • have you ever fallen over? lol

  • OMG John Lennon?!?!?!? And no im not drunk.

  • Nice intro to the instrument. Been thinking of getting one. This is certainly an incentive. Would allow me to do some nice acoustic tunes with the band.
