Well, your favorite part of Zack & Wiki, the death montages, are back. Mad Science indeed can be a deadly excursion, and the countdown over Zack's head should he lather himself with the wrong potion ticks a lot faster than I'd hoped. I kind of wish you could move Zack around in a more traditional way.

The penultimate piece of Barbaros is hidden in the deepest parts of a spooky laboratory. Barbaros must've had his very own Dr. Frankenstein working for him, considering the stuff in these rooms veers towards the mad end than the science end. But first--Bonelich von Skeleski!

Bonelich is Barbaros's personal composer and orchestral conductor. He cranks out old Capcom tunes, and Zack's fifth encounter should provide the most recognizable piece yet. If you can't put your finger on it (or you don't recognize it at all), this is the first Wily's Castle theme played in Mega Man 2. It's pretty easy as far as Bonelich's challenges go, to be honest. Then again, there was a LONG period between this one and the last one, all the way back in "Relics of the Past." Out of this...is a Wiki upgrade! Wiki is now fully powered up, and he sports a blue outfit, replacing the older red one. (Yes, this also means our next encounter with Bonelich will have him with a blue powdered wig instead of a red one.)

So, now what? Shaking the tree reveals a centipede, and you can cut the tree down with the resulting Centi-Saw. Not that cutting down the tree is that important, since I ultimately choose against it, but it's not like anyone needs it. (Except the centipede.) Also, you can see the Bell Tower of Requiem from here. You can also draw the snake out by clicking on it (which was the LAST thing I thought up of, since it's stupidly simple and too obvious).

The purpose of ringing Wiki at the centipede is to put it into the machine. Poor thing...The machine transforms it into a bottle of soda. By the way, if you take a good look at the diagram on the soda machine, you'll be able to tell what sort of soda will come out. They're categorized among non-avian reptiles, birds, arthropods, and mammals. There's a bat hanging out in this place too--just remember that a bat is a mammal. And that this is its last day alive.

When you can get the Purple Shock, Yellow Water, and Orange Orange all in the same place, that's when you can start making a concoction. The poster above the table with the beaker explains what sort of potions our late Dr. Frankenstein has confirmed, and in this case, we want one that shrinks Zack. Well, it's the only one we can make. It's one part Purple, two parts Yellow, and two parts Orange.

Now that Zack is tiny, he can go into the tunnel (as he can't crawl for some reason) and grab the Slither Gripper! If you've paid close attention to the poster, Zack can now access the soda needed to turn him invisible!

  • Me and my sister finally beat this after 2 years, but then we had to have the whole thing wiped so we could install Netflix onto it. -.-

  • @AmuletStrawberry Why would you need to stop playing Zack & Wiki in order to use Netflix?

  • @Overhazard Like, in order to install Netflix (which we didn't really want, but our dad insisted we got it) we had to mail our Wii to some place so they could make it so we could use DVDs. But in order to do that, everything in the Wii memory had to be wiped. D:

  • @AmuletStrawberry Weird. Is that how Netflix works? I wouldn't get its memory wiped just to have Netflix on it.

  • THAT's how you get the snake out? Seriously?

Jeez, I was brain dead on that for... like an hour until I decided to give up.

  • The solution's so obvious, it's totally hidden. I needed an Oracle Ticket for this.
