  • I also had this album in 1958, loved it.

  • This is cool, I wrote a piece in theory class in '69 using lyrics of a Ferlinghetti poem,

    but it wasn't this hip; mine was kind of a Gregorian chant-ish. Love hearing Billy Bean!

    in the 60's in Hermosa Beach just across from jazz club The Lightouse, was a

    bookstore called The Insomniac, well known on the beat scene; I have fond memories as a kid hanging about both places, saw /heard many greats. tks
