@yankee1103d Perhaps I didn't get the context. What exactly do you mean? That any British actor could do a better job than Carell?. I'll admit, I haven't seen the original British version of The Office, which is supposedly terrific. The American version could sometimes be inconsistent, but when it's hitting it's stride, it's one of the best things on TV...a classic in it's own right.

why is there a random clip of Pam putting on her sweater, that clip isn't funny AT ALL without knowing the context that Creed or whoever was staring at her.
The intro goes like this, show close-ups of the cast, and then some short funny clips that are funny, even by themselves

I have always loved The Office intro. The song is very cool and memorable. I'm pissed off that they shortened it for part of last season and this season. Cheers did that as well. That kind of thing really stinks. Trying to maybe fit in one more commercial? Bollocks.
