I just ordered and received an LSV 11 and absolutely love it. It may feel smaller because it is so light, and may take some getting used to, but the 1 13/16 inch nut width is fantastic!!! Can't find a better made guitar anywhere...and the sound of the LSV 11 is out of sight!!!

Which Larrivee would be most suitable for both fingerstyle and picking/strumming? I currently own an LV-09 and would like to upgrade to a higher-grade Larrivee this year.

@mattmaes the L size is very versatile. You may want to try the rosewood 10 in an L size.

lovely playing. Just curious, what string gauge did you use on the LSV

I only would trade local and I don't have an LSV-11 in stock right now. It's real hard to describe sound. As far as how they sit in the lap, I'm just not sure. Maybe you could get some idea from how I'm sitting when I play these models in the videos.

Hi Josh, thanks for the post.
I have a Larrivee SD-50 - like the one you present in another video.
I am a finger style player. So since you have played both, can you compare the LSV-11 to the SD-50 please ?
thanks so much -

They are much different. You've got to have big hands to play the SD-50. I have very small hands and it hurts me to play the SD-50. The LSV-11 is rosewood. You can see all the stats at the Larrivee site. Thanks for watching.
